Jillian Dodd’s MANday Contest

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.

There seems to be a lot of excitement about my friend Jillian Dodd’s contest to get CJ West to bare his soul upper body on her blog. Frankly, I don’t understand what all the excitement’s about.

Why would anyone want to look at this guy’s body? He’s so poorly developed his ribs practically stick out. I guess it’s his ribs. I’ve heard something ripples when he stands without his shirt on.

I don’t think this particular photo is CJ West, but this seems to be the sort of thing these women are looking for. See how unhealthy that looks. Who would want to stare at that?

What’s up with these women? Why wouldn’t they want to see a real man—one powerful enough to support 250 or 300 pounds of male virility humanity instead of some scarecrow who barely moves the needle when he steps on the scales?

Now this is what I’m talking about. Here are some real men! Look at those magnificent bodies. Imagine the musculature it takes to support those physiques! Why doesn’t Jill feature guys like this on her MANday?

Marcia Richards recently featured a post by guest Barbara McDowell entitled Sexy, Smart and Single. The discussion was about what makes a woman sexy. Do you think they were talking about someone like the model below?

Of course not. They know men aren’t shallow enough to be attracted to such surface beauty. Men look for women with brains, women they can be comfortable with. Men don’t care about looks. They want a woman who reminds them of their mothers.

Now that you’ve read this, I’m sure none of you ladies will be interested in Jill’s contest, but just in case one or two of you want to know, here’s what Jill actually said:

I couldn’t help but notice that he was pretty darn cute. So I politely inquired about the possibility of him appearing on one of my MANday blog posts. (Actually, I said, Do you have good abs?) After a little help from some of my female author friends, we convinced him (okay, we bribed him) into agreeing.

If you really must, go ahead and click on Jillian Dodd’s contest for more particulars. She actually thinks there are 5,000 ladies out there who want to see skinny men enough to leave comments on CJ West’s blog. Oh, well.

Come on, ladies. Would you rather see some puny guy with washboard-looking little rolls on his tummy or a real man with the girth to keep him well-grounded? Let’s hear from you. Let Jill know your preference.

LOL. Great photos David! I especially like the beer bellies. Reminds me of family reunions on my dad’s side. There was a tradition for awhile that my cousins or uncles would do for my grandma called the “Whistling Bellybuttons.” They would paint faces on their chests and wear giant hats over their heads holding them up with arms inside. And then they’d do a simple choreographed dance pretending they were “whistling” to music by doing belly rolls with their stomach. LOL

And you all wonder why I’m so warped!

Well, Bro, it would probably shock the world into turning the other direction … maybe that would be good!

You have some excellent points here, David. I think that you, Mike, and Joe should sign up as a male model trio.
